U Aye Thiha is the CEO of Millcon Thiha Limited and the founder of Thiha Group. He is a Myanmar based Entrepreneur, and formerly was an Investment Banker with UBS in New York.
He also serves as the President of Hidaka Thiha Recycling, a JV with Japanese/Thai company and is a Director/Shareholder of the Millcon Thiha GEL company, a steel pipe factory based in Thilawa SEZ. He also established Express Food Group Myanmar and serves as a Director.
He also serves as General Secretary of the Myanmar Iron and Steel Association (MISA) and has been working closely to develop National Standards for steel.
He genuinely believes in the growth of Myanmar given its strategic geopolitical position, abundant human and natural resources, and young and competent population. As such, steel would be a key pillar for Myanmar and the use of quality products is integral to built its infrastructure.
